Since 1946, VPR has been dedicated to promoting and protecting the equestrian lifestyle. Our values today are the same as the original founders' - we cherish our relationship with the community and fully embrace horsemanship, patriotism, good work ethic, and exemplary personal character. Whether you are new to horsemanship or are an advanced rider, we have a community of like-minded horsemen & horsewomen who welcome you to our club.
Our 14-acre property has impressive show grounds including a modern clubhouse, two meticulously maintained arenas, two round pens for turnouts, pipe stalls, plenty of parking for day-use and direct access to the spectacular San Luis Rey Riverbed trails.

September Schedule Highlights
Hi Members, Prospective Members, and Friends of VPR,
September is shaping up to be a busy and fun month at VPR, and we hope to see you out at the club! Here’s what’s coming up:
🐎 Trail Ride - September 5 - start time is 10AM
Saddle up and join fellow members for a ride through the San Luis Rey riverbeds! If anyone would like to volunteer to be our Trail Boss, please let us know. Otherwise, this will be a self-guided ride. Enjoy the trails!
🇺🇸 September 7 — Happy Labor Day!
Today we recognize and celebrate the achievements and contributions of workers everywhere. Thank you for all you do!
📋 Wednesday, September 9 | 6:30 PM – Board Meeting
A draft agenda will be emailed prior to the meeting. As always, members will have the first 10 minutes of the meeting to bring up and discuss any items with the Board.
🔒 September 13 — Private Clubhouse Rental | All Day
The clubhouse will be closed for a private event and will only be accessible to those attending the rental. The rest of the VPR facilities will remain available as usual.
🌞 Wednesday, September 16 | 6:30 PM – Member Potluck
Come celebrate the end of summer with your VPR family! More details to follow, but mark your calendars and get ready for a fun evening together.

🏡 Dog Show - Saturday, September 25 - 27 – Facility Rental - Grounds Closed
The club grounds have been reserved for a private event will be closed during those days. IMPORTANT: Please plan accordingly, as there will be no access through the property, including walking or riding horses through the facilities.
We truly appreciate your understanding and support. These private rentals provide important revenue that helps us maintain our beautiful club, keep the lights on, and keep VPR going strong for our members. ❤️🐴
