Since 1946, VPR has been dedicated to promoting and protecting the equestrian lifestyle. Our values today are the same as the original founders' - we cherish our relationship with the community and fully embrace horsemanship, patriotism, good work ethic, and exemplary personal character. Whether you are new to horsemanship or are an advanced rider, we have a community of like-minded horsemen & horsewomen who welcome you to our club.
Our 14-acre property has impressive show grounds including a modern clubhouse, two meticulously maintained arenas, two round pens for turnouts, pipe stalls, plenty of parking for day-use and direct access to the spectacular San Luis Rey Riverbed trails.

August Schedule Highlights
Hi Members, Prospective Members, and Friends of VPR,
We have a fun month ahead! Here's everything happening at Vista Palomar Riders during August. 🐎
🌅 Friday Summer Sunset Socials - August 7, 21 & 28 - starting time is between 4PM-6PM
Join us for beautiful sunsets, great company, and a relaxing evening with fellow members, friends, and family. We'll fire up the BBQ, enjoy dinner together, and welcome anyone who would like to organize a fun game or activity for the group.

📋 Wednesday, August 12 | 6:30 PM – Board Meeting
Agenda will be sent out prior to the meeting for member review.
Members may address the board during the first 10 minutes
🐴 August 13–16 – SCHC Horse Show
Thursday, August 13 at 5:00 PM: Arenas close for event setup.
Friday, August 14 – Sunday, August 16: The facility will be closed for the horse show.
Members may still walk their horses through the grounds to access the trails during the event.
🍽️ Wednesday, August 19 | 6:30 PM – Member Potluck
Guests and potential members are welcome!

🏡 Saturday, August 29 – Clubhouse Rental
The clubhouse has been reserved for a private event from 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM and will be closed during those hours. The arenas and all outdoor facilities will remain open for member use.
